All Pucked Up – Episode 21 (Recorded 5/13/18)

…And then there were four!

Welcome back, everyone!! We’re glad you joined us.

Well, hockey season is entering it’s final weeks, and we’re down to just four teams: The Jets, the Caps, The Lightning and the Golden Knights. How many of you out there can honestly say that you picked those teams to be in the conference finals at the beginning of the season?

We start the show with a discussion about the Western Conference finals. The Jets handled the Golden Knights with relative ease during game one of their series. Was Vegas just playing with a bit of “rust”… or are the Jets really THAT good? We’ll let you know what you should expect moving forward. Also, what was up with Pekka Rinne in the Jets last series against the Preds? Was it premature to pull him in the first period of game seven?

For the second round, we break down the Eastern Conference Finals. Ovechkin seems like a man on a mission, especially now, after finally getting over “the hump” (otherwise known as the Pittsburgh Penguins). Could this finally be the Capitals year? … or will the Lightning find a way to bounce back and win this series?

We close out the show with a look at the Mohawk Valley Hockey Club (floor hockey league), and the charitable causes which it has helped since coming into existence. Scott Kinville shares a bunch of great information… how you can donate to the cause, and how you can come be a part of the action! Please visit:

The adult league is Monday nights at the YMCA of the Mohawk Valley, 83 East Main Street, Mohawk, NY. 3 bucks to play, open to all adults no matter the Skills level

Or call Scott @ 315-868-1051 for more information.

Music for today’s show was provided by our friends in the band “Nineball”.  Please check out their facebook page, and give them a “like”. They also provide us with our “opening theme music” each week.  Truly, some of the best guys we know.
