All Pucked Up – Episode 24 (Recorded 6/3/18)

Welcome back, everyone!

Well, we’re getting down to the wire here. With just a handful of games left in the season, we’ll soon know who our 2018 Stanley Cup Champions will be.

So who is everyone rooting for? Vegas or Washington?

More importantly, who expected the Golden Knights to lose two games in a row, and fall behind in the series after three games?

In this episode, we continue to discuss the battle taking place between these two teams, and let you know where we think adjustments should be made. Is it possible that Vegas is finally “running out of gas”? Or are we starting to see a Washington team that simply won’t be denied the chance to hoist the cup?

In the second round, we talk about the Vegas expansion draft… and explain exactly why many are not buying the notion that the Golden Knights are a team of misfits cast-offs. Turns out, there may be more to this draft that meets the eye. We also give our fantasy lineups…. our dream rosters built from this years players.

We close out the show with our picks for greatest hockey film of all time. Miracle? Slap shot? The Mighty Ducks? Goon? There’s actually quite a few movies out there that fit the category. So which one is our pick for #1? The answers may surprise you.

Music for today’s show is provided by our friends in the band “A Dying Breed” (host Jamie Ostinett’s band). He’s sharing a couple of unreleased songs from the new album. Enjoy… and don’t forget to give them a like on Facebook afterwards.

Excellent commentary as usual! I especially liked Jamie’s commentary about the Capitals, not only because the Caps are his team, but because he sounded as professional as any analyst I’ve heard on TV!! Excellent show!! GO CAPS!! Next time Rich…use the damn elevator at the Aud!!
