Drinking With Donnie!!! – Episode 1 (Recorded 11/17)

Well, it’s finally here!

The first OFFICIAL episode of “Drinking With Donnie”!!

Now let’s just be perfectly clear about something before we even try to continue on here…

Getting Donnie to sit down and record with us is no small feat (which is why this first episode has taken SOOOOOO long to get out to all of you). Basically, you have to catch him the minute he walks in the front door, set the microphone in front of him, and get him talking before the drinks start flowing. Otherwise…. forget it. You’ll end up with nothing but slurred nonsense, and in 10 minutes, he’ll be out cold.

We often joke about how Donnie should be charged rent for all the time he has spent sleeping on the bar.

To know the guy is to love him, however… and over the past several years, he has undeniably become one of our all-time favorite Garage Bar Patrons. We’re pretty sure that once you have a listen, you’ll feel the same way.

On this episode, Donnie (after being softened up with a couple shots of Fireball) talks about being a Buffalo Bills “super fan”. Jamie, not quite sold on that idea, decides to challenge him to a little game. We continue on with a chat about Donnie’s unusual bowel movements, and his reaction to his doctor’s advice.

After the break, Donnie shares a story about his experience as a high school football coach…. and why he might not be invited back next season.

We close out the show by discussing “the shocker vs. the Spocker”, and Donnie is giddy with ideas.

Erica, Rich, and Jamie from “Three And Out” co-host this first episode.
