All Pucked Up – Episode 12 (Recorded 2/5/18)

Welcome back, everyone!

We start today’s show with a look at the Edmonton Oilers. They’ve got one of the most talented players in the league in Connor McDavid… but the team itself is buried at the bottom of the standings.  What is going on with this team, and how do they turn things around? We break it all down. We also discuss the  struggling New York Rangers. They’ve been on a slide for the better part of a month now. Is there anything positive to look forward to as we move into the second half of the season? To close the round, we take a look at the most recent playoff picture.

During the second round, we talk about some of the moves which we could see in the near future. The trade deadline is quickly approaching, and many teams could use a final push to get them to the cup. Who’s making moves… and who should be? We’ll let you know.

We close today’s show with a look back at the NHL All-Star Weekend. We always wonder how many fans actually tune in to watch this game. We’ll weigh in, and tell you how we think the league did this year. Rich also has a funny story about his job at the AHL All-Star Game .

Music this week is provided by our friends in the band “Autumn Fire” (Yoshi’s band!!!). We’re giving you an extended listen to a few of their songs this week. Be sure to head on over to Facebook afterward, and give them a “like”.
