All Pucked Up – Episode 15 (Recorded 3/19/18)

Welcome back!  Well, the playoffs are right around the corner, and today, we’re talking who’s in and who’s out.

To kick off today’s show, we take a look at the Western Conference, and discuss some of the teams about to enter the post-season. Who has the best shot at winning the conference championship? Nashville? Dallas? Colorado? We break it down. We also talk about the suddenly “streaking” Arizona Coyotes. Where has this team been all year? … and do these recent wins give ‘Yotes fans any reason to look forward to next season?

During the second round, we switch over to the Eastern Conference. The Florida Panthers are making a final push to secure a spot in the playoffs. Despite some strong play, will it be enough, or have they dug themselves too deep of a hole? We also discuss the Boston Bruins. The Bruins are a team that have been threatening to overtake the Lightning as the #1 team in the East. Taking command, however, might lead to a first round matchup with the New Jersey Devils… a team that many are saying could be one of the most dangerous in the playoffs. Is this the matchup that the Bruins really want? We end the round with a look back at the 2018 Montreal Canadiens. We expected big things from this team this year. So what happened? And where do they go from here?

To close out the show, we salute the U.S. Men’s Paralympic hockey team.  With a 2-1 overtime victory over Canada, the United States has brought home the gold once again… their fourth such medal in 6 Paralympic Winter Games. Hats off to these guys for another incredible performance. Congratulations!!!

As always, we want to thank our friends in the band Nineball for continuing to support They  provide us with the song (“in My Brain”) that we open our show with every week.  Please help show your support by purchasing one of their songs. It’s literally just ONE DOLLAR!!! Please visit:
