Three And Out – Episode 19 (Recorded 12/26/17)

We’re headed into the final week of the regular season, and there is a TON to talk about!!!

We kick off the show with a discussion about the aftermath from last weekends games. It was business as usual for the Patriots, the Steelers and the Rams.  But the Eagles struggled, the Jaguars got steamrolled and the Cowboys….well, we’re not exactly sure what to make of them. The Titans, Chargers and Ravens are in a log-jam, and the Bills are wondering what they have to do to “catch” a break. (sorry, pun definitely intended)

So what does it all mean? We try to make sense of the ever changing playoff picture.

We also weigh in on James Harrison’s big move from Pittsburgh to New England. Will the Steelers go on to regret ever cutting their star linebacker?

During the second down, we talk about the “down and out” teams of the NFL. With the way some of them are playing lately, could we be seeing big things in the near future? We let you know which teams we expect to bounce back next year… and which ones we can expect to be “cellar dwellars” in 2018.

We close out the show with a look back on the controversial call which overturned Kelvin Benjamin’s TD during this past weekend’s game between the Bills and the Patriots. This is the second questionable call in as many weeks, and both have gone New England’s way. We don’t like to speculate… but could there be something more to this, or are the Patriots really just THAT lucky?

Music for the week’s show is provided by our friends in the band “Nasty Midnight”.
